On Monday, July 29th, the Women’s Fund of The Shelby Foundation will offer a lecture on “Women’s Health Through the Ages.”
Guest speaker, Dr. Amanda McAleer, will discuss health issues that most women experience in their thirties, forties, fifties, sixties, and seventies.
Dr. McAleer, an associate with OhioHealth Physician Group OBGYN, specializes in obstetrics both routine and elevated risk, pelvic organ prolapse, infertility, adolescent gynecology, menopause, and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. Attendees can learn more on what to expect with age and ask questions about their own journey.
The cost of the evening is $15, which includes dinner, but the event is free for 100+ Women for Shelby members. Please register HERE or by calling 419-342-3686. The program will take place at the Shelby Community and Senior Center from 6:30 to 8 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.
About the Women’s Fund of The Shelby Foundation
The Shelby Foundation established the Women’s Fund in 2009 to empower women, young and old, to achieve their full potential and thrive as members of our community by promoting intellectual, physical, emotional, social, economic, and cultural growth.
Since its inception, the Women’s Fund began 100+ Women for Shelby, created the lecture series, and has awarded over $20,000 in grants to local nonprofits who help women and children.
